Kurt has an extensive education in the construction field, excelling in organizational and management skills. He has years of experience working with subcontractors, investors, bankers, realtors, homeowners, municipalities, architects, engineers, designers, and city planners.

Kurt has constructed a wide range of single-family homes, from moderate to high-end, across various locations including Hinsdale, Burr Ridge, Oak Brook, Western Springs, Clarendon Hills, Lake Forest, Naperville, Wayne, Wheaton, Downers Grove, Orland Park, Geneva, St. Charles, and Lake Forest.

Over the years, Kurt has built homes ranging from 1,800 to 24,000 square feet, along with numerous custom amenities for clients such as indoor racquetball courts, home theaters, swimming pools, cabana houses, elevators, coach houses, heated driveways, and safe rooms. Kurt is also skilled at building room additions, remodeling, and complete home renovations.

His career includes developing subdivisions in Burr Ridge and Oak Brook, as well as building townhomes in Geneva, IL, and condominiums in Michigan.

Throughout his career, he has built enduring relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, many spanning over 25 years. Kurt is very knowledgable regarding infrastructure aspects, including detention/retention, water/sewer systems, street lighting, including environmental, and regulatory standards.

  • Renovation of numerous historical homes including the Crofts’ Frank Lloyd Wright home in Riverside and the R. Harold Zook home on Spring Road in OakBrook.

  • Implementation of the first radon infiltration control system in Illinois, featured on NBC News.

  • Utilization of environmentally safe building materials, spotlighted on the front page of the home section of the Chicago Tribune.

Kurt's townhome development in Geneva, Illinois, was showcased on the Christmas walk for its remarkable interior and exterior design. A countless line of people visited his model, many only to capture photos of its beautiful amenities and furnishings. As a result Campbell Court was quickly sold out. Campbell Court continues to stand as one of Geneva's most beautiful townhome developments. This truly highlights Kurt's exceptional skills as a designer and builder.
